Cheese is a busy world of products. Lots of new brands are launched every year and the fight for shelf space is fierce. We were asked to establish new Dutch cheese groups by giving them names, branding, and backstories.
We took inspiration from the rich traditions and anecdotes of Dutch farms. We allowed half Dutch / half English names so that customers could pronounce them or easily guess their traditional meanings. We also mixed traditional design with modern design, to establish curiosity among new customers - followed by loyalty.
